Riverwalk Development is a new master plan community that will be located on the west side of Interstate 29. With plans for walking trails and parks this new neighborhood will encourage an active and healthy lifestyle that will include residential and commercial building opportunities.
Hillsboro was originally founded in 1880 under the name of Comstock and was renamed after the railroad baron James J. Hill and remains the county seat, where you will find the County Court House and Sheriff's Department. Hillsboro is also known for having the oldest weekly newspaper in the state, the Hillsboro Banner which commenced in February, 1880.
Things to see and do in Hillsboro include visiting our Pioneer Museum, Plummer House- built in 1897 and completely restored, Woodland Park and visiting the businesses in our downtown corridor. [Yesterday 8:05 PM] Levi Reese
